Dorothy specialises in hand built one off pots, using heavily grogged stoneware or "T" material. They are matt glazed, Raku or smoked fired and much of her inspiration comes from the rocky coast of her native North Devon and from the crumbly decaying textures of sea defences, old stone walls and breakwaters as found near her suffolk home.

Her work is available from her studio at Blythburgh, Suffolk, England. She is a member of the Suffolk Craft Society, the East Anglia Potters and a member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen.
